Prof. Jay Carlisle receives award from NYSTLI

Professor Jay Carlisle was honored with the Academic Excellence Award from the New York State Trial Lawyers Institute. The award was given “in appreciation for 25 years of dedication and commitment to educating New York’s trial lawyers.” It is believed Professor Carlisle is the only academic to have received the award.

Professor Carlisle received a plaque that happens to include one of his favorite quotes from Marcus Cicero: “What nobler employment, or more valuable to the state, than that of the man who instructs the rising generation.”

  1. Jay,
Congrats to you for this award, which you richly deserve!
All of us at Pace are in your debt.

  2. Jay:

Glad to see the Trial Bar recognize what most of us knew all along!

They were just slow on the uptake.
