Energy and Climate Center attorney Andrea Cerbin comments on settlement with ConEd

Andrea Cerbin, staff attorney for the Pace Energy and Climate Center, was quoted in the industry publication “Energywire.” In an article discussing a recent rate settlement with ConsolidatedEdison Inc., Cerbin commented on another aspect of the agreement intended to help manage the demand for electricity, especially in the event of another storm like Superstorm Sandy. The Pace Energy and Climate Center was part of a consortium of groups involved in the negotiations.

“Basically, there will be some kind of pricing to customers to ramp down during critical peak events,” said Cerbin.
