Law practice management
Prof. Gary Munneke teaches courses in Professional Responsibility, Law Practice Management and a Seminar on the Legal Profession. He is an active leader of the American Bar Association, where he currently serves as Chair of the Finance Committee of the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar, as Chair of the Law Practice Management Section Task Force on the Evolving Business Model for Law Firms, as a member of the ABA Diversity Center governing board. He is also the Chair of the New York State Bar Association Committee on Law Practice Management. In 2011, he was awarded the Samuel S. Smith Award for excellence in law practice management by the ABA Law Practice Management Section.
Prof. Munneke has authored more than 50 articles, and 20 books, including the leading casebook on law practice management: Materials and Cases on Law Practice Management. He is also the author of Law Practice Management in a Nutshell, Opportunities in Law Careers, The ABA Guide to Legal Marketing, Your New Lawyer, Careers in Law, The Legal Career Guide, Non-Legal Careers for Lawyers, How to Succeed in Law School, The Lawyer’s Handbook, and Barron’s Guide to Law Schools.
