Legal history
Prior to entering academia, Professor Ralph Stein was associated with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. He previously served as a field investigator for the U.S. Senate Sub-Committee on Constitutional Rights, and on the legal committee of the Anti-Defamation League. Prof. Stein is a founding member of the faculty at Pace Law School, and teaches courses in Constitutional Law, Free Speech, Criminal Procedure, The Constitution and the Military, and White Collar Crime.
Professor Stein serves on the board of directors of the Lower Hudson Valley Chapter of the New York Civil Liberties Union, and has been involved in various civil liberties activities in both New York and Westchester. He is an avid researcher of Constitutional law and legal history, and has published numerous articles on the subjects.
